1. General Booking & Appointment Questions
- Question: Do I need to schedule an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?
- Answer: Yes! You can come to me in Ruskin or Riverview and save on the mobile service fee. I also offer convenient mobile fingerprinting and can travel directly to your home, office, school, or facility.
Appointments are required. Call or text (813) 240-6590 to schedule.
- Question: What geographic areas do you cover for mobile fingerprinting?
- Answer: We proudly serve South Hillsborough County and surrounding areas, providing direct mobile service to Riverview, Brandon, Apollo Beach, Ruskin, and Sun City Center.
- Question: What do I need to have ready when you arrive?
- Answer: Please have a valid government-issued photo ID (like a Driver's License or Passport) and your specific 9-digit ORI number provided by your licensing agency or employer. I have a list of the most common ORI numbers on the home page. If youre unsure of yours just give me a call and I’ll help you find the correct ORI number.
2. Results, Tracking, & Processing
- Question: How long does it take for my Level 2 background check results to process?
- Answer: We transmit your scans securely and electronically to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the FBI immediately. Most agencies receive and process the results within 24 to 72 hours.
- Question: Will I receive a physical copy of my fingerprint results?
- Answer: No. Florida state law requires that all electronic Livescan results be submitted directly to the requesting state agency (such as AHCA, DCF, or DBPR). We cannot print or hand-deliver your background screening report to you.
- Question: How can I track the status of my background check submission?
- Answer: Once we submit your fingerprints, we will provide you with a Transaction Control Number (TCN). You can use this number to check your live submission status directly on the official FDLE updates page online.
3. Compliance & Agency Regulations
- Question: Are you approved to submit background checks for AHCA and the Department of Health?
- Answer: Yes. We are an FDLE-approved provider authorized to submit electronic Level 2 background screenings for the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Children and Families (DCF), and all other major Florida licensing entities.
- Question: What happens if my fingerprints are rejected due to poor image quality?
- Answer: While rare due to our state-of-the-art live-scan capture technology, prints can occasionally be rejected by the state due to faded skin ridges. If a rejection happens on a scan we performed, we will coordinate a complimentary re-scan appointment to ensure your application gets approved.
